Commissioned by Fundación Piel con Vida for the 6th Dermato-Oncologic Congress held in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. The piece was produced as an exclusive commemorative edition for the doctors, speakers, and coordinators participating in the event.
Fundación Piel con Vida is a non-profit organization based in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, dedicated to the prevention and early detection of skin cancer. Through its annual congress, the foundation promotes continuing education and collaboration within the dermatological and medical community.
The illustration presents a visual interpretation of the layers of the skin, highlighting the presence of melanoma within the tissue. The visual approach was intentionally softened to communicate the subject in a clear and accessible way without relying on a strictly clinical or graphic depiction.
